Many stores around the area have been wonderful enough to sell dog bones for a buck. Many won't do it because they do it for other non profit, like MS, MDA and so on. This was last school year that they did it, so maybe I can get them to do it again…

Close to goal.

So we are so close to our goal, but we are getting a little discouraged. We live in a small town that most everyone has already donated, plus being that the country is in a difficult time financially not many companies are donating. Does anyone have any ideas for hopefully finishing up the fundraising? I have really enjoyed meeting so many people during this experience, but now people are starting to get upset hearing from me. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Help Please!!!

Thanks for checking in on us. Kira has started a new seizure med, and hasn't had any more seizures, but she is really cranky and screams alot. Between that and work deadlines, I've just got my head down and doing one day at a time. (oops, as I was typing it looks like Kira had a short seizure in her sleep).

Let me kmow if you want to try to arrange a fundraiser with my husband's band.

Hi Victoria! It is nice to hear that other families from Oregon are or have receiving dogs. Our family is still in the fundraising phase but am hoping that it will be finished this month. It seems like it has taking so long to do. Thanks for the invite and hope to talk soon!
