Thanks Heather. That helps. Glad things are going well with Mr. Jelly Bean!

Michelle Noah is homeschooled so we don't have that issue with the school allowing the dog or not!! But at children's church this week we implemented a hand's off rule during class time. Kids are not allowed to mess with Jelly Bean at all until all church is over and we are 'fellowshipping' afterwards in the vestibule or outside. And then they are only allowed to pet him if he's sitting or in a down. It is taking some time for the kids to learn the boundaries but they are learning. Hope Jingle gets a little less excitement this week!!!

Riley is in an after school program called Girls on the Run, and Jingle made her debut last week. It is a tiny step toward being in school with Riley. The Principle had to allow it, etc. I have to figure out the fine line between wanting the kids to love having Jingle there, and not letting them plow Riley out of the picture. They flocked and fawned and Riley skee-dattled, running by herself. She can't handle that kind of excitement or crowding. Not our intended purpose! It is hard because a lot of these kids have great emotional need. Some in the program have challenging home lives etc. I hate to tell them to step back, but I'm needing to make clearer boundaires this week! Wish me luck!

May I ask what the letter is for that you are proof-reading? Is it a school letter, if so can I see it too?

Jingle is a real sweetie! Everyone in the neighborhood loves her. She is sleeping on Riley's bed. She is barking at passersby in the street (we're working on it), she is trying her hardest not to chase squirrels. We just love her. She is a joy.

Heather, Sally had a great pic of Noah getting his dog on her Facebook page. I used it on my blog. I think Sally needs to become a professional photographer!

Jackie, our camera battery died so I don't have one of Luke, but I'm sure someone must. Whenever you are ready, I will proofread your letter.

All of the kids/dogs were so adorable. I feel to lucky to have met you all.

Jackie there was a picture of Luke sitting with CLarabelle on the FB page that Sally started. I didn't have my camera that day cause it was in my other bag that I left in the hotel room so I don't have any pictures of Noah either. I"m just trying to find them as I see them shared other places so if you have any of Noah, please pass them along too!! Thanks!

I can't be the only one breathlessly (well, almost!!) waiting to hear how things went at training, and how the new family members are doing. I know there are adjustments, but we are so interested.

Will post some pics on the FB Event, finally getting to that. Day 2 of school, Monty is so great. Not one problem. He and Margs and her People PE person ran around the tennis courts today kicking a soccer ball. He is staying in bed unless he hears Emma. Those 2 are quite the pair.
